This promotion has become one of Octopus’s traditions. It started in 2015 and has been held every year throughout the entire month of July. The aim of the promotion is to encourage young people to achieve better results in the educational system or extracurricular activities. While we fully understand that grades are not a measure of knowledge, we are all aware that good results pay off in the long run. With better grades, you can enroll in the college you desire, and outstanding success in sports or music can lead to a professional career that you will love. Even if none of this interests you, it’s still worth striving for the discount. 🙂

The -50% discount applies to piercing services and is valid from July 1st to July 31st each year. All students and students from the age of 12 to 22 are eligible to participate.

The condition for obtaining the discount is to present a report card (or whatever documents schools/universities provide today) that shows you have completed the academic year with an average grade of 3.6 or higher.

For those who do not have the required average but achieve outstanding results in other areas (music, sports, etc.), you need to provide evidence/certification of your achievements (1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in a national competition).

You can find the regulations on piercing for minors at the link. The discount cannot be transferred to another person or used outside the specified period.
The discount cannot be combined with other discounts (e.g., if you get more than one microdermal or another service that already includes a quantity discount, the grade discount cannot be added to it).

The ‘Piercing marathon’ is an idea that emerged at the very beginning of Octopus’s existance, with the goal of promoting piercing in society and providing quality piercing services at reduced prices for those who cannot afford this luxury on a regular basis.

On the day of the ‘marathon,’ certain piercing services are discounted by 50%, and clients are taken on a first-come / first-served basis, without appointment reservations. Due to the extremely high response, sometimes there is a wait of several hours. For this reason, we introduced a queue system (similar to a bank) so that clients need to take a queue number upon arrival. The queue system is live-streamed on our Instagram/Facebook piercing profiles so that clients can, for example, go to a nearby café for coffee and return in time for their turn. In the event that a client is not present in the studio when their number is called, we cannot wait for them and will automatically serve the next client in line. Subsequently, the rest of the clients will be taken according to their queue numbers.

The purpose of this action is to serve the maximum number of clients in one day, but unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate everyone who shows up because, after all, we do not have eight arms, so one piercer can only pierce one person. To speed up the entire process, we kindly ask clients to follow some simple rules:

• take a queue number upon arrival
• follow the live stream of the queue system
• if, for example, you have number 60, be in the studio when number 58 is called
• think in advance about which piercing position you want and what kind of jewelry you would like (color: silver, gold, rose gold, black / with or without zirconia) to avoid wasting too much time on decision-making and selection
• eat a regular meal at least 1 hour before the piercing, and please inform us if you feel unwell during blood sampling or have a fear of needles
• if you are an adult, do not bring companions to the piercing area to avoid unnecessary crowding – only clients who are getting pierced are allowed to enter
• minors must be accompanied by one parent (not the whole family!) and should read our Regulations on piercing minors in advance
• do not bring pets and young children due to long waiting periods (they cannot accompany you to the piercing area anyway)

Please understand that piercers are humans, not robots, and they occasionally need a break for lunch, a glass of water, or a mental health recovery from stress, and the like.

In the event that we cannot accommodate you, we apologize, but we cannot work at this pace for more than 8 hours.

Each piercing marathon has some additional rules, so please read all the information related to that specific event carefully before coming. Genital piercings are not performed on most marathons because they take too much time. On some marathons, the price of specific jewelry models is also reduced, while on others, it is not.

All of us at Octopus love animals very much, and since we cannot adopt them all, we assist associations that care for abandoned and unwanted furry (and feathered, and all other) creatures.

Throughout the year, you can find a donation box for voluntary contributions at the piercing reception of Octopus. If you need to get rid of small change like 1 or 5 cents, toss it into the box. If you’re happy because we’ve solved some issue with your piercing, don’t make us chonky by bringing us chocolates, fatten up our donation box for animal shelters instead.

When our collection box is full, we donate to a random association that has an urgent case at that time (an injured or seriously ill animal). Due to the large number of associations and an even larger number of their wards, we cannot monitor them all.
