SEARCH BY POSITION OR TYPE OF JEWELRY
Knowing basic piercing terms such as the names of specific body positions or the types of jewelry will greatly facilitate your search. Most piercing positions have classic names in English (nostril, lip, tongue, etc.), but if you're curious about terms like bridge, snug, daith, smiley, ashley, etc., check out the 'Piercing positions' page. If you're unsure about the name of the type of jewelry you're trying to find, consult the 'Jewelry types' page.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT JEWELRY
If you have been pierced at Octopus in the last few years, after getting the piercing you received a flyer with aftercare instructions. This flyer includes the dimensions of the inserted jewelry - thickness, length or diameter, and the type of thread (if applicable). These details are crucial when purchasing jewelry because inadequate sizing can cause issues during wear.

PURCHASING JEWELRY PARTS
Most piercing jewelry consists of parts that can be purchased separately - for example, a labret consists of a base and an attachment, a barbell has a base and two attachments, and so on. When buying attachments, pay attention to the type of thread, i.e., whether the attachment you want is compatible with the base you have (or vice versa). Jewelry can be further adorned with various accessories such as chains and pendants, which you can find in the 'Parts - Accessories' category.
FILTERS
Like on any webshop, using filters helps narrow down the selection to relevant products, allowing you to find what you're looking for more quickly. You can search for jewelry by type, material it's made of, thickness, diameter, thread type, color, whether it has zirconia or not, etc.
BRANDED JEWELRY
Piercing jewelry from well-known global brands such as Anatometal, Industrial Strength, Shanga, etc., can be ordered in various metal variations (titanium or yellow, white, and rose gold). You can choose the type and color of the stone (zirconia or precious gemstone) and the type of thread (if applicable). Due to the enormous number of possible variations for each jewelry model and the fluctuating price of gold in the market, some of these suppliers do not have a fixed price list, and the price for a specific model can be obtained through a direct inquiry.
On our webshop you can find jewelry models that we have in stock and are immediately available. With each brand, you will find a link to their website where you can view their complete range of jewelry. If you find something you like, you can email us at octopus.nakit@gmail.com with the jewelry link so we can check the price. Please also provide the dimensions you need because, for some models, the price depends on that as well. Once we receive feedback from the manufacturer and inform you of the price, we can further discuss the order if you are interested.
For custom orders (jewelry that is not in stock and is specially ordered for you), a deposit of 50% of the jewelry price is required. The deposit must be paid before we order the jewelry and is deducted from the total price when you come to pick up your order. In case you cancel the order after the production has started, the deposit is non-refundable.
