IMPROPER JEWELRY DIMENSIONS

If you have mistakenly ordered the wrong color or size, or if we have sent the wrong model by mistake, please contact us via email at octopuspiercing@gmail.com so that we can arrange a replacement. Returns and exchanges of purchased jewelry can be made within 10 working days from the date of purchase.

We do not exchange worn jewelry!

Just as you lose the right to exchange worn underwear, you cannot return piercing jewelry after wearing it for a certain period as it comes into contact with bodily secretions, cosmetics, etc. Some jewelry models can be sterilized, while others cannot, but regardless – at Octopus, we do not sell used jewelry. If you are unsure about the size of the jewelry you need, contact us, and we will be happy to assist you in making a selection.

 

JEWELRY COMPLAINT

You can file a complaint regarding purchased jewelry within 30 days from the date of purchase.

If the damage to the jewelry is a result of a manufacturing error, we will replace the jewelry with a new one at no additional cost to you. The damaged jewelry needs to be returned to Octopus so that we can send it to the manufacturer and process the complaint on our side, providing you with a new piece. When returning the goods, please carefully follow the instructions described in the Purchase Terms – VII. Contract cancellation and return of goods.
In case the damage is a result of inadequate handling or prolonged wear of the jewelry, Octopus piercing studio is not obligated to replace the jewelry or make a refund.
If you have assembled the jewelry yourself, we are not responsible for any potential falling out and/or loss of jewelry.

Piercing jewelry is unique in that it is almost never removed, unlike necklaces, rings, and similar types of jewelry. Due to constant wear and contact with bodily secretions (sweat, saliva), cosmetics, water, etc., some types of jewelry are prone to wear. For example, colored titanium jewelry – titanium is originally silver in color and is anodized (colored) during the production process. With constant rubbing of tissue or clothing against the colored jewelry, the color will wear off over time, and the contact area will become silver again. The same happens with gold-plated and black (PVD coated) jewelry, but the process may take longer. Another example of jewelry wear is the darkening or loss of cubic zirconia. On certain types of jewelry, cubic zirconia may darken due to prolonged wear, exposure to sweat, water, cosmetics, etc. On some types of jewelry, this will not happen due to differences in manufacturing, i.e., cubic zirconia mounting (see Webshop – Buying Help – Types of Jewelry – Types of Cubic Zirconia). All branded jewelry (Industrial Strength, Anatometal, LeRoi, etc.) comes with an unlimited warranty that covers the loss of cubic zirconia. For cheaper jewelry, this warranty lasts for 30 days from the date of purchase.

We strive to provide the best and most accurate description of the jewelry and the image. Despite this, the colors in the pictures may differ from the actual colors of the jewelry.

If you are dissatisfied with the purchased jewelry for any reason, contact us so that we can find an adequate solution.

RETURNS

RETURNING JEWELRY

If, for any reason, you wish to return the ordered jewelry, please contact us via email at octopuspiercing@gmail.com
In the email, provide your full name and the reason for returning the jewelry.

  1. Returns or exchanges are approved exclusively for unworn piercing jewelry within a period of 10 days from the date of purchase.
  2. The jewelry must be returned in its original packaging (small plastic bag) in an envelope with protective bubble wrap to prevent damage during transport. If we receive damaged jewelry, we are not obligated to facilitate a refund or exchange for a new one.
  3. The jewelry should be sent to the address: Octopus obrt, Prilaz Gjure Deželića 23/1, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, 0956286787. Please make sure to include your details (sender) on the envelope.
  4. The buyer bears the cost of returning incorrectly ordered jewelry and the cost of shipping for new jewelry in the case of an exchange.
  5. The jewelry should be sent by registered mail (without cash on delivery) to obtain a tracking number. In the event that the shipment is lost in transit, Octopus is unable to provide a replacement for the jewelry or a refund.
  6. After receiving the return, in consultation with the buyer, we send replacement jewelry (new shipping is charged to the buyer according to the regular price list of 5.50 euros) or process the refund. The refund amount is reduced by the original cost of shipping the package.

MONEY REFUND

In the case of an agreed refund to the buyer, the amount of the jewelry price is returned. Additional costs (shipping and any bank fees) are not subject to refund!
