
APPOINTMENT RESERVATION
In recent years, there has been a significant increase in interest in piercing, resulting in a higher volume of work. For this reason, in 2016, we introduced mandatory appointment reservations for all piercing services that involve a piercer—such as piercings, jewelry changes, examinations, and consultations. An appointment is not necessary if you only want to purchase jewelry and know the dimensions you need or if you’re coming to buy a gift voucher.
Booking an appointment helps us organize our work and ensures a shorter and more pleasant stay at the salon, without waiting in line. Sometimes, your piercer may run late due to a previous client feeling unwell (commonly due to fear or coming for a piercing on an empty stomach). Please understand such situations as they are beyond our control.
Walk-in piercing is sometimes possible if someone cancels their appointment or simply doesn’t show up. However, if you don’t have a scheduled appointment, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate you, regardless of how inconvenient it may have been for you to come to us. We especially ask clients coming from other cities to call a few days in advance to reserve their appointment. If you’re coming to Zagreb unexpectedly, still call us on the day you plan to visit to avoid disappointment and drama at the salon. Make an appointment to avoid disappointment.
ONLINE BOOKING
Due to a high number of reserved appointments where clients do not show up or notify us of their absence, as of 2023, we are introducing online booking exclusively through our website, with a mandatory deposit equivalent to the service price. With online booking, you can select the position (or positions) you want to pierce, your preferred piercer (if you have a preference), and of course, a date and time that suits you. We currently have four piercers, but not all perform all positions. If you don’t see your desired piercer in the list when making your selection, it means they do not perform the service you have chosen.
If you want to get multiple piercings in the same body area during one appointment (e.g., 3-4 earlobe piercings or helix piercings), select the basic service (earlobe or helix), and in the “additional service” option, specify the number of additional piercings. For example, to pierce 3 earlobes, select the “earlobe” service and set the quantity to 2 in the “additional service” option.
If you want to get multiple different positions in one appointment, choose the “other – piercing combo” option. When entering your information, an additional form will open where you can select all the positions you want to have in one appointment. The deposit for this option is 70.00 euros, and the final price will be determined at the salon. The deposit will be deducted from the total price after the service is performed.
DEPOSIT
To reserve an appointment, you need to pay a deposit. Payment can be made through secure card payment or via PayPal or the KEKSpay application. You will pay the price of the service itself, and the cost of the jewelry will be paid at the salon after you choose the jewelry you like and we complete the piercing. After making the payment, you will receive an email confirmation with all the appointment and deposit details.
In case your schedule changes, and you cannot make it to the agreed appointment, you can reschedule or cancel it yourself. Links for changing appointments are provided in the email you receive after booking. Changes and cancellations can be made no later than 24 hours before the appointment. If you don’t show up at the agreed time and do not inform us 24 hours in advance, you forfeit the right to a refund of the entire deposit.
Due to the numerous combinations of piercing services, please reserve all the options you want to have in one appointment during online booking, as we cannot extend the appointment time if we have another client scheduled immediately after. So, if you book an appointment for a belly button piercing and then decide you also want a daith piercing when you arrive at the salon, we won’t have enough time to do both. Please book only the services you are sure you want. If you reserve an appointment for multiple piercings and then decide not to go through with one of them at the salon, we retain the deposit for that service. This is because we could have accommodated another client during that time, and your deposit helps cover the loss.
PIERCING SERVICES
For easier navigation during online booking, some positions are grouped and have additional options. The online booking plugin recognizes the basic service as a “base” to which additional services are added. For example, when you select a nostril piercing, additional options like “semisymmetry” and “symmetry” will appear. If you’re getting a nostril piercing for the first time, simply skip the additional options. The displayed price of 38.00 euros applies to a standard single nostril piercing.
If you already have one nostril pierced and now want to pierce the other side, select the “semisymmetry” option. The displayed price of 7.00 euros is an addition to the base price of 38.00 euros, resulting in a total of 45.00 euros.
If you want to pierce both nostrils at once, choose the “symmetry” option. The displayed price of 38.00 euros is an addition to the base price of 38.00 euros, resulting in a total of 76.00 euros.
You can find the complete price list on the link. The prices on the price list and in the online booking refer to the service itself and do not include the jewelry, which is selected and paid for at the salon.
Piercers have a lunch break from 15:00 to 16:00, during which time appointments cannot be reserved.
“Jewelry replacement” refers to the service where the piercer replaces your current jewelry with different jewelry. If you buy jewelry at Octopus, the replacement service is free. If you bring jewelry that was not purchased at Octopus, the service costs 2.00 euros, and the proceeds go to a fund for abandoned animals. “Jewelry replacement” does not mean that you can buy jewelry from us, wear it for a few days, and then come to replace it with something else because you don’t like it. When the piercer places the jewelry, please consider carefully if it’s what you want, as we do not work with used (worn) jewelry, and we cannot take jewelry you’ve worn for a few days, sterilize it, and put it back in stock. We assume that no one would be comfortable with the idea of wearing jewelry on a freshly pierced eyebrow that was previously worn on, for example, a genital piercing, regardless of sterilization.
For certain piercing positions, the initial jewelry must be longer to allow for potential swelling, easier cleaning, and healing. After a certain period, it is necessary to switch to shorter jewelry to prevent snagging, migration, and to improve the aesthetics. A prime example of this is ear cartilage piercings. If jewelry with a length identical to the thickness of the cartilage is used from the start, any slight swelling or accidental entanglement during sleep may cause the jewelry to sink into the tissue. Therefore, a few millimeters of space are left at the beginning. After approximately two months, when the tissue starts to recover, we recommend switching to shorter jewelry to prevent the piercing from healing at an angle due to sleeping on it and to avoid hair getting caught in the jewelry. In this case, it is not possible to replace the initial (longer) jewelry with new (shorter) jewelry for the same reasons mentioned earlier. Shorter jewelry must be purchased, and the longer jewelry remains with you. You can keep it in case of potential future piercing issues or bring it for sterilization and use it for a new piercing (jewelry must be brought at least 24 hours before the piercing appointment so that we have time to clean and sterilize it; sterilization costs 7.00 euros).
